My oldest son has been experimenting in the kitchen lately.
By that, I mean cooking. Not trying to destroy, take apart, or rebuild things in new and different ways. That was so last week for him. He has a fondness for hard boiled eggs, and he loves deviled eggs as well. However, he got bored with the old “tried and true” recipes that we have all come to know and love and decided to create some new ones.
What he came up with is fabulous!
He certainly has a flair for tastes and these new creations are no exception. Try them for your next family get together, bbq, or picnic and see if you don’t agree!
That’s The Way The Cookie Crumbles
Begin by scooping out the yolks and mixing with the sugar and cheese. Mix in one of the crushed oreos gently and pipe back into the whites. Top with the remained crushed oreos.
Mix the yolks with the sour cream and mustard. Mash 2 of the jalapeno slices and fold in. Pipe back into the whites and garnish with jalapeno slice half.
Not Quite a Baked Potato
Mix the sour cream with the yolks and add the salt. Add in 2 tsp. of the dried chives. Pipe back into the whites and top with remaining dried chives.
