After a long day of gardening, taking care of the animals and other homestead chores, my feet often hurt.
Not just hurt, but HURT. I’ve been on the all day, walking, lifting, bending and they hurt. It doesn’t matter what shoes or boots I wear, the result is still the same. My feet, and often my legs ache. So, when I got the opportunity to try Hydrofeet, I was really stoked.
Hydrofeet are these little inserts that you put in any shoe or boot that make you feel like you are walking on water.
They gently massage your feet as you walk or put pressure on them at all. I have to be honest, when I first tried them, I wasn’t too sure about them. My feet squishing underneath me wasn’t the most pleasant feeling. It was different that anything I had experienced before with any shoe or insert. I knew I was going to be walking a lot for our community garage sales, so I tried them in my favorite shoes. After about 3 hours, I was amazed at how my feet still felt great. My legs weren’t tired, my feet didn’t hurt and I was still “roaring to go”. It was so different than what I had experienced in the past.
Next, I tried them in my gardening shoes.
Good ol’ crocs. They can easily be washed off with a hose outside and are perfectly clean, no muss, no fuss. But, what about the inserts? Could they handle the mud, chicken droppings and other nasties that are sure to be found on the ground? Squish, squish, squish went my feet as I went from bed to bed, weeding and harvesting. Comfortable feet in the chicken coop. Oh, it was nice. But, when I went to hose off the crocs like I always do…
So, now to see just how well they wash up.
To be fully honest, I wasn’t sure at first they really would wash up well. A little castille soap and water, some scrubbing and viola! They looked almost as good as new! Which is a good thing, because I really didn’t want to have to relate them to just my crocs and gardening chores.
Hydrofeet has products for each member of the family.
Mom, Dad, and the kids can all get the feeling of walking on water, and an all day foot massage. From their site,
Wearing Hydrofeet® Feels Like Walking On Water® or going barefoot in soft plush grass, or walking on the beach. They adjust to your feet to provide better stability, less impact, and to put your feet back in a normal, healthy state. Hydrofeet® Insoles help prevent or address common foot problems such as sore, tired feet; plantar fasciitis; bunions; Morton’s neuroma; Achilles’ tendonitis; knee, hip, and back pain; heel spur; heel pain; corns and calluses; peripheral neuropathy; and poor blood circulation.
Hydrofeet® Insoles are precisely filled with a vegetable-based, pharmaceutical-grade, FDA-approved glycerin. “Pharmaceutical grade” means allowable in food or cosmetics under FDA standards. This liquid glycerin is enclosed in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) that is known for its durability and strength. Unlike rubber, gel, or foam inserts, Hydrofeet® Insoles last longer, and were found to have 50 times the viscosity and strength of regular insoles. Get a pair now and find out how it feels to be walking on water!
What I truly liked about them is how my feet felt at the end of the day.
They didn’t hurt nearly as much and my legs weren’t tired. They are easy to clean and can move from shoe to shoe with no problems. They do take a bit getting used to, as they squishy watery feel is weird at first. You have to be certain with your size, as you really can’t trim them at all, except a bit at the toe. But, all in all, I would recommend these 100%! You can buy your own set of HydroFeet here.
**A big thanks to Hydrofeet for allowing me to try these, share them with you and sponsoring today’s post**
