Ever have one of those days where you’re just drained?
Usually a result of too much going on at once, fending off soe type of bug going around, a lack of sleep the night before or just overall crappy habits leaving you feel blah.
We all experience some form of fatigue at some point in our lives. Our bodies can only take so much before it starts screaming for rest and rejuvenation. Unfortunately, life doesn’t always cooperate with us at that very moment and rescue just has to wait.
This is where essential oils come in. Outside of all the other wonderful benefits, essential oils may also workfor combating daily stressors and fatigue.
(This study was done on rats, but it is promising.) This is the aromatherapy benefits of essential oils.
I always have a blend on hand to give me a little extra oomph just when I need it.
Here are a few of my favorite blends for combating fatigue, enjoy!
Mental Clarity and Focus
4 drops Lemon essential oil (get it here)
4 drops Rosemary essential oil (get it here)
3 drops Peppermint Essential Oil (get it here)
3 drops Cardamon Essential Oil (get it here)
3 drops Basil essential oil (get it here)
2 drops Geranium essential oil (get it here)
Tired Immune System
7 drops Lavender essential oil (get it here)
7 drops Bergamot essential oil (get it here)
3 drops Tea Tree essential oil (get it here)
3 drops Lemon essential oil (get it here)
3 drops Myrrh essential oil (get it here)
For all blends, place in a diffuser and allow to diffuse for 2-3 hours.
You can also apply them directly to an essential oil necklace (get the diy directions here).
To use on the skin, first mix the oils with 1 tablespoon carrier oil in a roller ball, and then apply. Do NOT apply these blends directly to the skin.
