Packing a bug out bag can be daunting.
Do you have enough water? Did you forget the matches or the shovel, or the the tarp you need? What about food? Do you have enough protein to keep you going for the short term? You don’t always have room for cans of meat, or MREs, or even lots of dehydrated jerky, so what are you going to do?
You need about 1/2 gallon of water, per person, per day.
Some other items for your bug out bag would include a tarp for sleeping on or making a quick shelter, matches, a folding shovel, soap, toothbrush, extra socks and underwear, a jacket or sweatshirt (depending on the season, a coat) and food. You need protein and carbs to keep you going, especially during times of stress.
You can #Feelgooder with Zone Perfect Perfectly Simple.
Packed with 10 grams of protein, and good carbs, these bars are the perfect addition to your bug out bag, camping gear or just carrying in your car. They are small, portable and I like them just about any time of day.
You can find these at your local stores, like Meijer.
I would have thought they would be stocked by the other granola type bars, but they were in the pharmacy area by the diet and supplements. Once I went there, they were easy to find and it was hard to choose from the 4 flavors. We chose the 3 we thought we would like the best, Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk, Almond Toffee Crunch, and Bing Cherry and Almond. You can see the deliciousness that is within them.
They kept me feeling full for several hours.
This was even after a 3 mile hike with the hubby. Tasty, chewy, and crunchy all at the same time, I would totally recommend these for just about anyone. Click here for a coupon with $1 off your next purchase as well so you can #FeelGooder! Grab a couple and stick them in your bug out bag, vehicle emergency kit, or gym bag.
