Highly efficient, affordable, and adaptable to many different kinds of property and chicken breeds, it’s hard to go wrong with a good A-frame, especially if you’re short on materials or don’t have a lot of experience framing.

A-frames remind people of different things, from cabins to lodges and everything in between. Some chicken keepers choose an A-frame just because they are distinctive or complement their personal style. It’s as good a reason as any; your chickens will love it no matter what.
